I'm still figuring out what AR15 I am going to end up with but still have questions, as this is all new to me. If I wanted to put a Magpul PRS AR15 stock on an AR is it legal in Hillaryville?

The only differences it has from a any other AR stock is the adjustable cheek and a shoulder
pieces and the rail for the mono pod.

My concern is being able to move the butt plate in and out, would that be considered a colapsible stock, a no no here in NY.

I would say no. Here in Cali we also have our own laws pertaining to collapsible/folding stocks.

Anyways, I would say no because the buttstock itself isn't retracted. More so the buttplate and cheek rest. If your really nervous and don't have constructive possession in NY, order one. Make it comfortable and pin the buttplate in place.

see it as the actual stock is fixed at a certain point so its not collapsible it only takes minor
adjustments to fit to the shooters shoulder and cheek.
