I'm certainly no expert, but here's my understanding:

Hahn makes (at least) two different magwell block designs.  one of them is compatible with this after market bolt catch, the other isn't.  I'm not sure if the bolt catch will work with any other magwell blocks out there (maybe some colt ones, but I'm not 100% sure)

The Colt style 9mm bolt catch is very different than the standard catch. The "tail" of the 9mm catch is longer so it can be actuated by the follower of the 9mm mag which sits further in the mag well. The 9mm catch can not be used w/ a 5.56 mag.

Two of the three Hahn blocks use the standard 5.56 bolt catch, the bottom loader and the dedicated ones. The top loading Hahn block (non dedicated) can be used w/ the 9mm bolt catch, which in a way makes the block become dedicated because you need to remove the 9mm catch to install or remove the block.

Some of the ASA drop in blocks had cuts in the back so you could install a 9mm bolt catch as well.
