Are you pulling the charging handle all of the way back, then releasing and allowing it to come forward on its own accord?  If that doesn't work, and lubing doesn't work, give it a little workout with the release button, then try again.

And where are the pics?

That's okay, work out the other issue first, so we can all enjoy your fully functioning AR!  Any luck yet?

Are you pulling the charging handle on the full mag ,,and then letting go of the handle
If so the buffer spring has to push both the bolt AND handle at the same time
Normally this should be no problem ,,but you baby is all new ,needs a little break in
If you pull the handle and let the bolt catch hold the bolt ,and then  pushing the handle forward again, thing might go better,, with the mag in push the bolt catch ,,see what happens
This is by the way much more healthy for you charging handle

Here you go.

I agree with the guys here, pull the CH all the way to the rear and push the bottom of your bolt release lever to hold the bolt to the rear.

Then press the bolt release lever and see if it will work.

When my carbine was new sometimes the bolt doesn't close all the way and it got a little better after I break it in, I changed my buffer to the H (heavy) carbine buffer and mine cycles all the time now.

seems to work if I give it a good hard pull back, maybe I wasnt using enough persuation. sorry the pics are before the addition of the BCG and CH, its a superior arms lower with DPMS parts, an unknown brand A3 upper with 16 inch preban HBR I got from the EEas well as the FA BCG and a beat up used CH, new 4 pos stock (cheapie got online for 35 bucks!) all in all it is my first AR attempt and I have about $550 into it, was trying to go the cheap rout and wait for the best deals but once the lower was done the disease had taken hold of me and I lost controll and just kinda got OK deals. I am happy tho and cant wait to go shoot it with out fear of the neighbors calling the cops! thanks to everyone who helped with parts/info.
