I was wondering if anyone could help me and tell me how to get the follower out of my mag, its a 10 round bushmaster, it has a flat bottom floor plate and has some kind of pin running through it about 1/2 inch from the floor? do i need to drive that through or what??????

Just pull out on the slanted end of the floor plate on the side of the mag that faces the front of your body while the weapon is pointed down range while putting some upward pressure on floor plate. Then slide if off. It may take some tinkering, but it should slide right off. I'm not sure what type of pin you're referring to, but it may need to be depressed to allow the floor plate to slide. Oonce you get the floor plate off, the follower will come out with the spring.

It must be some California legal fixed mag thing.

Post a pic.

They had to put it together, it has to come apart.
