The dang Harris Bipod! Does anyone have detailed directions for installation on standard handguards w/ a #5 adapter? Thanks in advance. Happy New Year!

You have to remove the heat sheild. Then put the thing together thru one of the handguard ventholes. Reinstalling the heatshield is optional and kinda' a bitch. I did it once. But only once.

I don't recall removing the heat shield on mine.

I don't know if the OP's still workin' on it or not, but it's been a slow year so far.

I didn't see the need to remove the heat shield.
