Ok, I have a stag arms carbine rifle and what I am trying to do is remove all the lower parts for the trigger so I can send them into Bill Springfield to have him do a trigger job for me. So I am just trying to find out what is what kind of tools do I need to do this? Also are there any special procedures to remove these parts? Any help would be much appreciated. thanks, Wade |

You will need a tool to punch the pins out (a 1/8 punch works well). You should not have to "drive" the pins at all. Place the hammer in the "fired" position and push out the pin. Then push out the trigger pin (make sure you keep track of the diconnector and it's spring, they are held by the trigger pin as well). the safety must be in the "fire" position to remove the trigger. Drop all the parts in a bag...........and off they go. |
