Ok I am still new and just started ordering parts, but still deciding on the upper configuration I want. Ok I'll make my list and you let me know how it all looks, functionality, etc. If you have anything close post a pic. Lower: Noveske (be here tomorrow) LPK: CMT (tomorrow) Stock: Can't decide between the modstock and ctr (any suggestions?) Upper: Cmmg teflon coated a3 Bolt Carrier: Either ameetec chrome, or BCM chrome lined (suggestion?? Now the barrel and handguard is my dilemma. I like the recce look, but I want shorter than 16" I think. How would a 13.7" with kx3 and 10" handguard be? Or would a 14" barrel with vortex be better? Will either, or both be good to 200-300 yards? I want it to be accurate, but short. What recommendations can you pros give me? I need some help! Maybe I'm dumb but how did this get put in the retro forum??? |
| If you go below a 16" barrel you will either have to have a permanently attached muzzle device bringing overall barrel length to 16" or register your rifle as an SBR with Local CLEO approval, and a $200 Federal tax stamp. Wasn't sure if you were aware of this but I just wanted to point it out. |
