OK, some I'm going to start my first build.  I have an RRA lower for a base.  I want to build a varmint/tack driver.  I was thinking of buying a RRA LPK with a NM trigger.  Is this the right route or should I buy a standard trigger and have it worked or some other trigger.  I have a RRA Tac Entry already with a NM trigger, it's fine, just not as crisp as some of my bolt hunting rifles.  At any rate, is the RRA LPK with a NM trigger one of the better choices for a decent varmint rifle...if so, who has the best price today?  I'll go check equipment exchange also.....thanks for any suggestions!

PS - I'll be asking questions about uppers in a month or so.....

Just buy a timney trigger for it. If you dont want to buy a LPK just to not use the trigger order the parts seperately or sell the trigger on the EE.

Depends on your budget and if you want a 2 stage or single stage.
Since you compared it to a bolt gun I would guess single, try a JP setup or on a tighter budget you could send your trigger to Bill Springfield.

JP rifles' trigger groups is what i'm sure he's refering to--great triggers

if not, the RRA 2-stage is good enough for a varminter rig imo, its at least a better one than the stock single stage

Williams Set Triggers

I have one of these triggers on my RRA Predator Pursuit.  To say they are nice is an understatement.  Far superior to the CMC and Timney triggers I have on my other ARs.
