Very nice gun. Although, it must be pretty weird to need storage compartments in your stock for it to be useful. I think the most 'useful' thing on that gun is all the rails that you're not using, especially the rail on top of another rail.

I saw that you picked up that CASV-EL :D Not sure why the CASV is not more popular, oh well. More for us :D haha. Throw some pics our way when its done :D |

Yep, really like it, have it all "mocked" up together right now. Was going to go with a Vortex I already have, but dayum, those things sure don't like a drill Oh, and just snagged a Troy buis a little bit ago on the EE I should get it together by next weekend I hope. Will post pics. again.....nice pics ![]() |
If I didnt know better, I would say you were copying me :D Haha....thanks for the kind words, cant wait to see what yours looks like in all black :D |

Looks good but I do have one comment... You do realize that an Eotech and a CAS-V handguard is not a great match don't you? On a CAS-V rail, the Eotech will sit up very high and there is no way to co-witness it with the irons. Matter of fact, the only way you will be able to use the irons will be to remove the Eotech so if nothing else, I hope you will be getting some type or quick release mount for the Eotech. I prefer Eotech's but with a CAS-V, the Aimpoint is really the better way to go. Other then that, it looks like a pretty nice build

I do realize that the Eotech wont cowitness with irons. Thats why they are BACK UP Iron sights. If something should happen during the non combat situations I am in, and my eotech breaks. I can flip two throw levers and have it off in about 2 seconds :D The Eotech 553 has the throw levers integrated :D
I guess they call it "Brown" so we will see how well it matches :D www.armsmounts.com/catalog.php?action=124&item_id=97 |
All in all it looks like a solid build. |

That is HOT Man :D the CASV-EL systems are way underrated IMO. Here is mine finished off with the FDE ARMS sight, the match is not that great, its the only thing I didnt really care for. May have to switch it for a troy but for now its fine :D This gun originally started out to be my "working gun", a shooter :D Which is why I chose the CASV so it would be relatively easy to swap barrels every 15K rounds or so, and so I could use the CAR gas system w/ 9" rail and still use the fixed FSB. ![]() |
