Guys,

I just did my first lower build, and all in all it went real smooth. No detent pins being launched, etc. I just have one problem. My Safety selector does not want to work after I put the hammer in. It worked fine until then, but now it does not want to move into the Safe postion. It is not frozen up, it moves a little up and down, but it does not want to engage the safety. Any ideas?

silly question but is the hammer cocked back?
you can't engage the safety when the hammer isn't cocked...

OMG, no it is not a silly question. I was so happy to finish the build without springs flying everywhere, I wasn't paying attention. That is what it was, I knew it had to be something simple, it was working fine until then.....

Don't feel bad. I ended up taking the trigger out to put the safety in till I cocked the hammer back and figured it out. The sticky was a bit vague on that.
