Do you have to have a lower that is marked 9mm or multi in order to legally run a 9mm build (dedicated)? I know the parts will fit, I just want to know if I have to track a marked lower, or just use what I have.

You can use any lower, marked for any caliber for a 9mm build. I prefer to use 9mm marked or completely unmarked lowers for 9mm builds. I used a Global Tactical (a CMT/Stag lower manufactured for Denny’s/GTS with no caliber markings) for a recent build.
