im about to buy either an upper or a kit to build a carbine. im not sure what length gas system to get (mid length or CAR length) im not even sure what the difference is, other than the gas block being a little further forward or back. im also going to be buying a full length handguard for it. i love the way you only get that little nub of the barrel and brake sticking out. im thinking either MI or Troy. BUIS and an EOtech for sights. kinda like the top one in this pic- found it in one of the pic threads.  are there any issues with having a rifle length handgaurd on a CAR? i know ill need a low-pro gas block. |
