Kiser Munitions has Superior Arms stripped lowers for $89.95. Significantly less than the $199.00 I spent on my last Bushmaster stripped lower. I'm on a tight budget and money is everything, BUT, I don't want inexpensive to equal cheap quality. The thought of getting two lowers for the same price I paid for my last one, is pretty enticing.

So my friends...what do you know about these things? I searched for "superior Arms" and didn't find much in our archives. If I use a quality LPK will I be just fine?

My last build went for about $750, scoped. I want to build a stock M4, and a stock A3.

Thoughts from the more experienced guys?

They are good to go.

I have several and all built up fine and run without issue.

Me and my friends orderd several the other day at that price. We built one up in .204 and the rest in .223 and they seem to be good so far. Aint to sure that I dont like mine just as good or better than my RRA. The finish didnt chip off around the holes when starting the roll pins like my RRA did. No big deal that a black sharpie couldnt fix. The set screw was kinda fun to play with but most of us use match triggers of some kind so that wont be used to much but its nice to know its there just in case.

Some people like them, some don't.  I had one of the early ones and the firing pin holes were oval shaped.  They replaced it no problem, and the new one was fine, I ended up selling it to raise money for something else (where a lot of my stuff goes...)

I bought a Superior Arms S-15 rifle about a year ago. I've run about 1.5K rounds through it without a flaw. I love my S-15! When I bought the rifle, I bought it at the Indianapolis Gun Show and had them do some extra work to it. I had it Duracoated so that the lower, barrel and upper half were gray. The furniture (free float front handguard and stock) remained black in color. They did a FANTASTIC job on it. Every time I take it to the range, people come over to paw it and offer to buy it from me. To pick up my rifle, I went to Iowa where their shop is. They were nice enough to give me a tour of the place. You ought to see what they're doing over there. Having worked with metal many years ago as a grinder and drill operator, I can tell you that these guys have their act together when it comes to tolerances and quality control. I was very positively impressed with their work and their shop. Superior Arms is a family owned business. Terry Williams is the guy with whom I dealt and he treated me right. The rifle was Duracoated by Haynes, Inc. Firearms Refinishing out of Clinton, Indiana. I would not hesitate to do business again with either Haynes or Superior Arms. Both are very good companies. Oh... and my rifle shoots better than ANY M-16 or M-4 variant I've ever owned or shot. Accuracy with my S-15 has got to be at least 20 to 25% better than any other rifle I've shot.

That's good to know about their shop. Makes me feel good about my 2 SA lowers. I know the finish is a little rough compared to other manufacturers, but the price is right.

Do they make their own barrels or get their barrels/blanks from another source? For it to shoot better than your other AR-15s, I assume they do their own barrels.
