1) How reliable are the magpul mags?  Someones got a bunch for sale in EE but ive read that "aftermarket" mags arent as reliable as the USGI stockers.  theres a sale on those too.  somebody is trying to unload 145 of em.

2)Is anyone using the CAA CBS stock?  How do you like it?  id like to get a couple reviews before i drop money on it.

3) This should probably go in the variant forum  and is probably a dumb question but can a 7.62 upper be used with a 5.56 lower?  Im thinking the differences will require building a completely different rifle.  Thats ok though.

thanks guys.

1) The Magpul mags are very reliable.  There was a problem with some of the ones made before July 2007 that have been corected and the company is offering free replacement of teh magazine bodies for any of their mags made before July.  Check the Magpul website via the link posted at the top of teh screen for details. (Great customer service if you ask me).

2)I use a CAA CBS stock on one of my carbines and have no complaints.

3) No you can't use a 7.62 Nato upper on a 5.56 lower.  The mags wouldn't fit if you tried.  51mm cartridge length vs. 45mm
