Although I've been reading threads here for a couple of weeks, this is my first post. I really learned a lot already just from the answers to other posters' questions. I have recently purchased a rifle kit from one of your sponsers after hearing lots of positive feedback on them. The kit is a 16" mid-length from Del-Ton that I will be mating to a Stag lower once it arrives. I'm very happy with the parts, but have a couple of questions. The upper receiver only has one marking that I can see...a small "keyhole" symbol. Can anyone identify the maker? Also, the chrome-lined barrel is marked "DTI 1-9 CL". Any idea of the manufacturer on the barrel? Thanks in advance for any help, azimuth |
| The "keyhole" symbol is the marking Cero Forgo uses to identify the their forging. The upper may have been finished machined by Contential (Stag) or Advanced Ordnance. Newer Stag A3 uppers will have Tmarks that are laser engraved and appear white but are actualy silver as the laser burns through the anodizing, leaving the al showing through. Advanced Ordnance will have what appear to be stamped Tmarks that are the same color as the upper. I am not sure of the barrel markings, maybe Dalphon? 1-9 is the rate of twist and CL indicates a chrome lined chamber and bore. |
DTI identifies the Barrel as having been made for Del-Ton Inc. |
