I got my first lpk installed without em, but after oogling over a set in the matco truck yesterday I figured I better get some for the other builds. The good set went in 64ths upto 1/4" but I know I don't need all those. It was around 250 bucks too. Each they are around $10, but I'm not sure I know every one that I need. I got 1/16 and 1/8 ordered, I know I need both of those for various things. A list of all AR applicable sizes would be great. Dunno if this should be in build-it or in maint, I guessed here was best. Thanks in advance.

1/16 and 1/8th are good to have for most roll pins on the AR. For the FSB taper pins I use a Stanley Nail Set and a ¼” pin punch. The nail set is good for removing the FSB taper pins. The concave head of the nail set eliminates the slipping off of and deforming of the taper pins.

Since I didn't need a whole set, I ordered S&K 1/16, 5/64, 3/32 & 1/8 from My Tool Store.

Eagle Firearms have a set of the first 3 (unknown manufacturer) for $14.

Awesome, I got the first 4 or 5 in the set. Good thing about the matco tools if I can mess em up he comes by every friday and replaces em :D  Thanks guys, slowly building myself a home-tool kit for toys like the ar's.  Next I need one of those little hockeypuck things for hammering pins on. I made the mistake of putting my ar parts list on my birthday list which is still 2 weeks away so I can't buy anything til I find out if I got anything off there. haha. argh! hate waiting. I guess it gives me time to do my homework. ;)
