I'm having trouble finding 1) a FSB for my Recon barrel and 2) a bolt carrier for my bolt. Anyone know where I can find these items? I've searched around the board and a few of the vendors to  no avail. Thanks.

To this:

I used a YHM flip up front sight on the last upper I assembled.  I bought ith through "Brightflashlights" on the equipment exchange (EE) on the site here.

Bolt carriers can be purchased from several vendors in the EE here as well, or from most of the major manufacturers/assemblers.  Rainier Arms, J&T, DPMS, are just a few possible sources you can try out for standard and custom AR parts.  Rainier, and J&T offer military/LE discounts if you qualify.

Del-Ton, I know, has BCGs. Standard, Chrome, and TiN... You can get the assembly as well as individual parts.
Bravo Company is the same way...

There are several out there, those are just the 2 that i use the most..

I used the Larue Low Profile Gas Block and a 12' JP Free Float tube. That way the tube extends over the gas block and you can use a BUIS or not.

For the BCG, I called Wes at MSTN and ordered the Young MFG Chrome BCG. It's tight.

Is there any real advantage in buying one of the Titatium Nitride BCG versus a chrome one? I am also in this same situation and willing to spend the extra money on a top of the line BCG if it is truly worth the extra $$$

Consensus around here is that no, it isn't necessary to get an upgraded bolt carrier for great accuracy and reliable function. No one seems a fan of the TiN bolt carriers. Something about them being too hard for the Al receiver may be part of this.

The Young and LMT bolt setups seem logical upgrades for a rifle built with top o' the line parts throughout, but they by no means make a system fool-proof.
