While putting my first AR Build together tonight, I have lost the spring that holds the rear take down pin.  Where can I buy one, or get a replacement?

Join the club!! you popped your cherry!

Although you can order the take down pin spring (8448586) and detente (8448585)      for .55 cents each,

i would suggest either the "lost" parts kit(CP-KIT) - $13.50

                   or, even better,

the Complete AR15 Spare Parts kit (ARPARTSKIT) - $39.50  (it will come in handy!!)

All part numbers and references above from Bushmaster

Been there, done that.  I was lucky enough to find it.  It went flying and I craweled on my hands and knees looking for it in the carpet.  Took about a half hour or so but I found it.

I lost one swapping a stock, then lost another one two years later swapping another stock because I forgot about the first time. Let me go swap a stock real quick and see if I can NOT lost one!
