Looks good, have you taken it to the range yet?

wow that is really impressive, but what parts did you build yourself, that key looks home milled, but i cant tell about the rest of it.

could you be more specific about where you sourced parts and what tools you used?

to your ingenuity!!

Fired 1 round from the mag to check cycling. Locked back the bolt catch.
Will try on Full Auto Rock n roll soon!

looking good, other than skull-sweat and labor what did it run you and what shop machines did you need?

A lathe machine for piston and op-rod and a milling machine for the picattiny gas block and solid drive key.

The more I look at those pictures, the more I like 'em.

Some really nice work there, definitely shows some skill.  Can't wait to hear the initial range report!

Hopefully you can keep your gas key bolts from shearing, keep us posted.

Looks like there is a step in the key so shearing bolts should not be a problem.

Thats right. A 1mm step machined in the BC to accomodate the modified solid drive key.

There has been a few posts lately that has been great as far as making products, but no one is sharing dimensions.

Would you mind sharing the exact dimensions of your project if it works?

Dimensions are there as a guide for design and fabrication purposes. But as far as I can tell, during assembly, there is fitting to be done (by hand). So not to mislead anyone with dimensions, I'd rather not post it. Wouldn't it be great to do some measurements and discover it on your own? "Its the journey that counts, not the destination"
