Good day. I will be finishing up my first build here shortly and have come down to selecting which buffer spring/weight to use. I see a lot of people using the H2 buffer and then it seems like a lot use the 9mm buffer with 14.5" carbines. I will be running a 14.7" barrel, carbine gas system, with the LMT enhanced full auto bolt carrier group. Any suggestions? I don't think it matters, but I will be using a  magpul m93b stock with the integral so to speak buffer tube. I appreciate it....

I'm sure the H or H2 will work just fine on your 14.7". The only problem i can see is the fact that you have already increased the mass of the carrier group by using the FA carrier. That combined with a new rifle, and the desire to shoot cheaper ammo (Wolf, Brown Bear, Monarch, etc.) might have a tendency to give you trouble. Personally, i would start out with an H buffer, and see how it performs. Good luck and welcome to the site (and the disease).

I have both an H buffer and a 9mm buffer that i use for my AR15's. I prefer the 9mm buffer more personally.
