Good day. I managed to pick up a Timney drop in trigger from a buddy of mine who bought the 3 lb. version rather than the 4.5 lb. version needed for competing. I am working on a Mega lower for my first build and figured since I got the drop in trigger assembly, might as well use it. Is there a online vendor where I can buy individual lower parts or will I need to buy a whole lower parts kit and not use some of the parts? What parts of a lower parts kit will I not need using this drop in assembly? I sure do appreciate any help....

You can drop the whole fire control group from the parts kit except the safety selector, and the hammer and trigger pins.  Parts List

The fire control group consists of,
trigger and trigger spring
hammer and spring
disconnector and spring
tigger pin, and hammer pin
safety selector

Not a bad idea to have spare parts around, especially fire control group.  If you ever had a problem with your drop in and had to send it back for service you could use your spare in the meantime.

Hopefully there won't be any problems with Timney, because I have one coming next week also.

White Oak Armament's LPK doesn't include any trigger/hammer parts.  WOA is good stuff, too.

Try Adco also for lower parts kits sans FC parts...

White Oak = $36 + $4 for shipping
