Are thier products any good? Just looking for a short riser to mount a fastfire to for a little extra height.

Decent, not top of the line, but good for the price. I had a YHM quad rail, no problems there.. but a BUIS I had required locktite to get it to stay put, so I'd say do the same with the riser.

Quality stuff, but don't send it to them to do the work. Their customer service is very poor.

Solid stuff.  Kind of like a ruger semi auto handgun.  It works and is built well, but not the best and not the most attractive either.  (Still nice looking though)

Poor service?

They seem to be happy to advertise that "installation is free" if you buy any of their parts from them (like a free float tube). I would think for that "free installation" to be anything other than a detriment to their business, service would have to be pretty darn good and quick.

They have alot of great stuff.

Phantom flash hiders and Specter free float tubes are some of my favorite products from them.

I sent them my upper when the AWB went away for the whole package, and got it back with a bent charging handle. When I contacted them about it, the guy I spoke to said "I remember your upper it was a bit of a hack job". It was a Bushmaster with less than 500 rounds though it, that was maybe 6 months old, so I'm sure he remembered someone elses rifle, and mixed up the parts, but he said that was not possible. So I sent them a bunch of e-mails, and wrote a letter demanding my charging handle be replaced, and they just stopped responding. I won't buy thier products anymore, and I always look for the chance to let others know about it because if I stop one sale of thiers, then it cost them more than my charging handle was worth in the first place. Maybe they will learn some business ethics out of it.

I've used their railed forearms(2), flip up front and rear sights(2 each), and bipod adapter(1) without any problems.

When I did my first build, I drove to YHM to order a folding front gas tube sight, since they're 45 mins away from me down in Northhampton, MA. I brought my barrel to make sure they mated up OK.
I asked the guy who took care of my order a  question, And he said "Let's go check it out" and I got the entire factory tour! This wasn't a intricate question, more along the line of "How do you guys make....".
My experience was an outstanding one. I figure if they're willing to give the 10 cent tour for just one question, they'll take care of any problem that might crop up with one of their products.

I've enjoyed several of their products, too. Haven't had a complaint yet. Well-built and it doesn't break your wallet to buy stuff.

I have their carbine freefloat rail on my gun and I like it but I'm not crazy about their BUIS, compared to a TROY it's not even close

I had a quad rail that was a little purple and posted about it on ARFCOM...

YHM CONTACTED ME!!!!!

They took thetime to find me and replaced the rail for no charge. On top of that, they upgraded me to the lightweight model at no additional charge as well.

Kick ass!

You should loctite anything that screws on to your rifle
Can't really blame YHM for that.  I have a YHM free float tube on my carbine upper and it's solid and functional, but not really top of the line as far as finish goes.

Well, every time I have posted about this on here, I mailed YHM a link to it to let them know I was spreading the word. For the first time someone e-mailed me back and said contact me about the situation. I called him today, and he said he is going to rectify the situation. I am currious to see how, and I'll post when it happens.

True to form for Yankee Hill, I have heard nothing from them. I emailed the guy back who swore they were going to do something to fix my problem with them, and he never replied. This is exactly what happened last time.

THEIR CUTOMER SERVICE SUCKS!!!
