Ok guys here goes with my stupid question.
This is my first time putting together a lower parts kit in lower
Every thing was going good untill I came to a spring that has the last two coils slightly larger that the rest. This is the only spring in the kit like this ? It will not fit in the trigger, to small for the Buffer detent. I am thinking it should go in the bolt catch assy ?
I used a spring out of a Field parts kit to finish up the lower, but I would like to know where this spring goes ??

Possible disconnector spring from the description.

Look at the pics posted on this site.

Sounds like a disconnector spring.

the disconnector spring can be difficult to install, a real good push is needed to get it so seat. At first it seems it won't go in, but persist and it will.

Ditto, disconnector spring, I did the same thing with my first lower build, also, it best to install spring while trigger is out.

The fat end goes into the trigger.  This force fit retains it in the trigger.
