Finally received my CTR yesterday, so my SHTF build is pretty much complete.  I’m debating about adding a LaRue EOTech mount as I do not care for the true co-witness.  I’m also considering a VFG and flashlight as funds become available, but for now I’m done.  Del-Ton M4 upper with YHM Phantom 5C2 flash hider and YHM free-float hand guard on a Stag lower I picked up at a local show.  Magpul enhanced trigger guard, CTR stock and MIAD grip, EOTech 512 and a Vickers VCAS sling with dual QD’s.  And for those of you with keen eyesight, yes, that is an ARMS 40 clone BUIS.  I picked it up for a song, and really just wanted to see if this was the type of BUIS I wanted (it’s actually decent quality).  I plan to replace it with a real ARMS 40 as funds become available.  Everything went together surprisingly well, and I’ve got a good fit between the upper and lower.  The finish between the two is spot-on.  Thanks to all for the vast knowledge base I used while putting this together.  Hopefully I’ll get to the range this weekend to sight it in.

Nice job.  Did you buy a kit from Del-ton or did you piece the rifle together from various sources?

Thanks.  I was particularly pleased with how that turned out.  I used the laquer sticks from Brownells and they worked great.
