After nine months of penny pinching, I finally completed my first AR-15!  I had the opportunity to try it out at a friends house this past weekend.  He brought out one of his "Toys" and we had a great afternoon of shooting.

Components used:
RRA Lower Receiver
RRA LPK
RRA Complete Bolt Assembly
J&T Distributing Upper Receiver

Now the only question is what to build next...

Looks wonderful. It was fun, was it not? What are the specs on your build?

Nice and basic. After I finish my first, one just like that is next.

A retro A1 style 20 inch rifle is always a good addition to any collection; the surplus uppers are easy to get and AFAIK, plentiful and very cheap.

Here's mine; total cost of build; oh, about $500.

Very enjoyable build.
