im trying to install my dpms ff tube and of course theres no instructions. I would like to know if I need a crush washer when im putting on the barrel nut if not what do i need? http://i41.photobucket.com/albums/e292/CHulscher/ar001.jpg |

You need a steady way to support the receiver, grease and a proper barrel nut wrench. Follow the tacked thread instructions at the top of this forum. There is no crush washer, just torque the nut several times and then to final alignment. If you can't get final alignment inside of 80ft-lbs, then consider the indexing shims that I sell, or torque it a bunch more times to try to get the threads to seat together better. |
