Tear Drop or Standard Round? I like the looks of the tear drop. Also has anyone tried DPMS's receiver rug? Wondering if i should spend the money on it? All help would be appreciated. TIA! |
It’s completely up to you. They both function identical to each other. Folks going for the “retro look” usually choose the tear drop FA.
Save your money. Everyone wants to earn a buck coming up with products to cure non-existent problems. I personally think the Receiver Rug is one of those products. |

The tear drop FA may hang up on stuff easier than the round, if that matters to you. I actually like the teardrop better myself, but I never want to take a chance on having to wait the extra time when ordering an upper to have it substituted. One of these days I'll order some and replace all the round ones. |
