| I plan on changing the barrel on my Bushy predator. Never done this b4 but read all the how to's and it seems like something I can do easy enough. The problem is in the how to's it dosnt show a BM predator so and I dont really know how to get the tube off. I don't want to start crankin on the tube only to find out I am trying to take it off the wrong way. It looks like it is screwed on to a nut that is screwed on to the barrel nut. Anybody have any info about this particular AR that can point me in the right direction? TIA... |
| You will need to remove the front sight base and gas tube to remove it. Just tap out the 2 pins at the base of the gas block and tap it forward. Mark the hole on tube where the gas tube passes through it. That way when you put it back on, you can tighten it to the correct position. The tube is not screwed on to the not. It,s pressed on. I used a strap wrench from sears to remove it, came of quite easy. I should say that mine is a Bushy V- match, but i think there the same tube with your,s having slots cut into it. |
