I have a Bushmaster Lower and want to put a LMT upper on it but i keep hearing about the bushy and LMT not fitting correctly together?  Is this a common thing or a once in a while occurance?  anyone have this combination with a good/tight fit?

I dont see how it could be an issue, I have a Bushy on top of a colt now.

But wouldnt a Colt on a Bushy be different than a bushy on a colt?

I have a LMT and two Colts and I could exchange uppers and lowers without any problems.

It won't be a problem on any brands except in rare situations when the components are made with extreme tolerances.

I also have a RRA upper on RRA lower and it's super tight, they're really designed that way, I don't use any hammer to open it but the takedown pin usually makes a dimple on my finger after I pushed the push pin.

If you want a tight receiver fit get a RRA.
