I am specing out a Delton kit, specifically 16" M4. How much difference do the chrome lined barrell and chrom bolt an carrier make? Do I really need both, one or the other, or is it not that big of a deal? thnaks Clay |

My opinion would be that the chrome-lined barrel is an option that you'll notice makes a difference in terms of accuracy, longevity and resale value (if that's an issue). As for the chrome bolt and carrier, while it's easier to clean and easier on the upper in terms of wear and tear, I think we're talking about the delta of really harsh use. For me, it's a "bling" factor. The chrome bolt/carrier is a really nice looking option. Hope that helps and I'm sure you'll get other opinions. Good luck. |
