| Does anyone here know how the DL Sports handguard locks to the receiver? Are there any modifications necessary to the receiver. I tried contacting dl Sports but they were rather evasive only stating they would do the install for $100 . i have installed many Knights, Larue and JP free floats. What might be different here?? |

Would that be Dave Lauck Sports by any chance? ETA: I wouldn't buy anything from them period. That's just based his books I mistakenly bought. +/- 100 pages each 40 of 'em are merely endorsements for his products or references to the same. They read just like the unbiased unsolicited 'customer' praise posted on his site. I'm not surprised that they would try to sucker someone into sending their upper for an install vs. just providing the info like anyone else. Can you return it? |

Post pictures of it. I have seen them all assembled, but never as components... A customer of mine had me drop-ship his barrel to D&L. There were some issues with gas block fit that D&L could not figure out and it ended up to be he was trying to install a 0.936" gas block on my 0.938" gas block seat. Of course using the proper gas block made it all work fine...  That is a 28" 204 barrel with a custom made 14" long handguard. |
