is everything clean (bolt, chamber, BCG, etc)? any burrs or non-smooth metal to metal? try to single out your problem: remove your BCG, and find out if your CH gets stuck--then its probably your CH; h/w, if the CH moves freely, it might be your bbl's chamber or your bolt face/carrier.... got any pics? |

i checked every thing and they all look just fine i even added more oil to see if that would do it, nothing!!!! when u take the upper off and turn it up side down u can use your had to move the bolt back and forth easly just not w the charging handel, i took it to the gun shop down the road they looked at it for about 15 min and were stumped also, they thought at first the gas tub was bent, not that, then maybe some ting in the bolt so they took that apart nothing, they just siad ship it back to MODEL1 so unlsess u guys can think of some thing mon its going out the door. so far im ectreamly upset w them , on a seperat note is it ok for the hammer to be touching the bolt release? |
| I had the same problem with a 9mm upper and a PRI gas buster CH. Turned out there was a little ridge on top of the CH handle that needed to be smoothed out. That ridge was catching on a similar ridge inside the reciever. After I smoothed it out, it worked normally. |
| What type of stock do you have on the lower? I ask because I had a problem with the back plate that holds the rear takedown spring and detent in place on the lower. After 40-50 rounds the back plate moved up on the lower and block the charging handle from pulling back. I could only get my charging handle to move about a 1/4 inch. So if you have a stock that uses a plate to hold the spring and detent in look at that |
