| i just recently purchased a bushmaster predator rifle, i would like to upgrade to a rail system tho eventually... the rifle came with the field breakdown and cleaning procedures but no where in that does it specify how to take off the free floating aluminum handguard.... i tried simply just unscrewing and no luck... do i need to just twist harder, maybe clamp the buttstock down or something to keep it from moving... any one know the trick here??? thanks guys |

I'm not sure if they unscrew or not, but if you really want to work on it you need an action block, if you try to secure it any other way you will probably end of breaking something.
