[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Question on gas tubes

Barrels of different lengths (10.5" 14.5" 16" 20") have different gas port sizes. However, the 10.5, 14.5 and 16" barrels can use a carbine length gas tube. Is the port size on the gas tube the same for all three, regardless of the size port drilled into the barrel?

I just measured the ports of carbine, mid and rifle length gas tubes and they are all with in .002 of each other so yes, they are all the same size.
