I have an itch for a new SBR upper Today I just bought a LMT 10.5 barrel I was thinking about adding Noveske KX3 flash suppressor VLTOR MUR upper Still trying to decide on which rail system - Any suggestions? It will wear an Eotech 512 Anything else Im missing? This will be the first upper I have built, so I am pretty excited |

I like the LaRue FF forends. For a 10.5, a 7.0 would probably be best. I'm building a MUR with 12.5 and using a LaRue 9.0. I just learned something last night, though. Because the MUR is billet and therefore thicker than a standard upper, the little semi-circle anti-rotation plate for the LaRue will need to be slightly modified with a dremel to make it fit. If you want to avoid the dremel, look at Troy FF's. They're really nice. |
