Was looking at their site and they have some good kits and Barreled Uppers.  I was interested in their 20" or 24" Fluted Barrel Kit.  But they don't list anything about who makes their uppers or Barrels.

Any advice? Should I stay clear from J&T.  Their Bull Barrel differences is almost 60-70 bucks  cheaper than say going with a RRA Varmint.

I don't know who makes their barrels but I have one of their lowers and it is top notch.  I haven't heard anything bad about J&T.

I've gotten 2 kits from them so far and have nothing to complain about at all. I imagine my next one will be from there as well. They have changed their web site around and are a little slow to answer e-mails, but we just don't live in a perfect world. Send them an e-mail with your questions.

I ordered a Bull Barreled Upper from J&T.  We'll see how it goes.  Do they ship fast?

I recently ordered from them based on the recommendations in this forum.  I talked to a guy there named Dennis who does most of the builds for sales from the web - Great guy and very helpful.  Most if the materials they use are manufactured by FN - whose worldwide reputation is top-notch.  I'm very impressed with them from both my experience in dealing with them and the products I've received.  I recommend them highly and will most certainly be buying from them again.

Here's a few FN links:

I have one of their 24" bull barreled uppers. The thing is a tack driver. I love it.

It's a heavy beast but it can shoot the balls off a gnat at 100 yards.

Are the bull barrels in the rifle kits stainless steel and are the uppers already assembled?

I asked them at the INDY 1500 Gun Show and they said they were Shaw Barrels.

"In related news, a Texas man was found in a ditch on the side of I-10 this morning, with what appears to be two 'high powered, military-style assault rifles' in his rectum. The man, who has not yet been identified, has been flown to a nearby hospital for immediate surgery. We will post details as they become available. Back to you, Bob."

I was told at the Birmingham show, several years ago, that they were Shaw also.
