| Just curious... anyone try the newer CAA colapsible stock, the one that has a battery compartment and the ability to add a magazine holder? I'm looking to add this to my AR and would appreciate any input. Thanks. |

I have one, and I like it overall, but I have a couple gripes. The mag holder sucks. IT sticks out way too far, much further than necessary, and it the way it hold the mags is either not secure enough (feed lips first) or way too secure (base plate first). and, and this is more for me on a personal level, it extends too far out. I like the price, the fact that it has a rubber butt pad, and the battery compartment. IT isn't going to garner the cool points of a new MagPul or the like, but it works. |
