Need recommendations for upgrading the BCG for my m4 configured Oly/PAWS M16?  Is the LMT "enhanced BCG" worth the extra $?  Are there other options?

Im no expert. I personally would get a BC with the full hood. Go with RRA, CMT / STAG, or Bushie . The only up grade ( I believe is with CMT/STAG you can buy them for about $10 more with the bolt  itself being MP tested. An extra quality check that  the other just check sample per batch vs, checking every single bolt. . I personally think you will be good to go with any of the ones mentioned.  Check ADCO for RRA and Denny's for CMT/STAG . Both are good product and good guys to deal with. Cheers WarDawg

Olympic BCGs have the full hood...

Since you have an Oly BCG with your kit, you do not need to 'upgrade' to the 'correct' design...

The need to 'Upgrade' your BCG only applies to those with 'neutered' BCGs, such as some Colt rifles...

Oly does not 'Neuter' BCGs, therefore you are good to go with their product...

Does anyone have that picture floating around comparing all 3?

Depends on the age of his carrier.
Several years ago, shrouded AR-15 carriers are very uncommon.
Today, SP1 carriers are uncommon.

Here's my carrier picture:

In the picture, the "enhanced" carrier is NOT an LMT enhanced.
The LMT enhanced has even more changes on it than typical "AR-15 enhanced" carriers.
LMT's enhanced carriers have 3 exhaust ports, a ring on the front face that hits the extension, reduced contact area with the upper receiver and a re-timed cam slot cut that increases the dwell time before the bolt unlocks.

"Oly/PAWS M16"
I am guessing that this is a select fire rifle and therefore has a fully shrouded firing pin already.  If it has an unshrouded AR carrier and a "carrier converter key", then by all means change it out for an M16 carrier!  I run Colt bolts and bolt carriers in my rifles, but that is just personal preference.  The stock components function well in most rifles, so if you're not having any extraction problems, I'd run with original equipment.  I know, not very adventurous but it usually works.
