I'm building a match rifle, and want an adjustable butt assembly. Most of them have a problem with the cheekpiece interfering with normal operation of the charging handle, and require attaching a bolt handle to the carrier. This also means cutting a slot in the upper to clear the bolt handle. Medesha has a design where the cheekpiece can be rotated out of the way, and the charging handle can still be used to open the action. It looks like a neat approach, and doesn't require any major mods to the upper or carrier. See Cheekpiece and Buttstock Has anyone installed one of these or had any first hand experience with one? Thanks! |
