[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Is 9mm different?

I've been reading and reading and cant find the answer I'm looking for, can I just swap out a 9mm upper for a 223 upper, so long as the magwell is blocked off, or do I need to change out the buffer tube as well?

Not sure if this is what your looking for. This will convert your 223 lower to 9mm.

Well basicly. You need a complete upper with a bolt complete. Its a 1 pc unit. Also a mag well addaptor. Your std. Car buffer should work. I use a Colt heavy buffer on mine. But for semi std. buffer should work fine.

You MAY will also need a different hammer.
