I've got a jewell trigger to install into my DPMS lower, but after reading the supplied instructions I'm none the wiser !?!?!

I'n not familiar with how AR trigger mechs work, am I being thick ?

Does anyone have anything better than the std instructions. I searched the archive and came up with www.highpowerrifle.com, but the site is dead.....

Heres a pic of what I have in the bag:

I'm guessing that parts spring C and semi circle thing E fit to the trigger D and that
spring B connects hammer A to trigger D ?

Help !?!?!

Thanks in advance
Cheers
Steven

I have a set of instructions that I found somewhere that I could email you if you just IM me your email address.  I don't know how to attach it to this email system.  Better yet, send me an email to [email protected] and I'll shoot them to you.  I haven't tried them yet but I think they are more detailed than the usual or either have a seperate section to help clear up some things.  Thanks.  GS

I have installed two Jewell triggers in my builds. The only thing that took time was the thing you have labled B. The hammer(A) goes in with the hammer pin and the trigger(D) , first stage adjuster(E) and its spring(C) goes on the trigger pin. The spring(B) is an antiwalk device. It goes on one of the pins(I forget which one right now), and snaps on to the other pin to keep them in the frame while you are shooting.
Once the trigger is in place you can adjust it all over the place! I have the RRA 16in A4 at 2.5lbs and the Superior Arms/DPMS at about 1.5lbs. You can adjust the pull down to near ZERO!!
