| i got a letter saying my megga upper might be out of spec. I need a mesurment on the rail to see if its the right size can anyone give me that mesurment?? |

It has come to our attention that our last batch of MEGA uppers have “out of spec” top rails. They were cut wider and some of the rings or sights do not fit properly. I was able to test an ARMS 40L on some of the lowers we have in stock and they did not fit. If your upper is defective, you may contact MEGA for warranty replacement. I called them today to let them know about our discovery. The MEGA uppers I have are also defective so I can’t offer to replace them but if you would like a different brand, please let me know and I’d be more than happy to replace it for you or offer a refund. I just got my Mega upper a couple of weeks ago. I don't have my calipers here at home but with a tape measure I came up with 27/32. I also checked a pictinny rail that i have for a light mount. It came to 26/32. I laid the pic rail on top of the Mega and you can see about a 32nd differance. I will check with my Micrometer tomarrow. I will also be on the phone with Brian (I have him on speed dial) at Mega Machine Works Shortly after that. I really like the Mega lower and upper and I hope this won't be an issue. Thanks for the heads up. |
I wonder if that's why they're "out of stock" at Rainier? Too bad, I was about to order one the other night. |
