Hey gang

What sort of magic is involved in putting on a Pantom flash hider without  messing up the finish on the flash hider?

I am using a 3/4 inch wrench, but it keeps marring the surface of the flats, and the wrench seems a little too wide...........keeps screwing up the crush washer.

Thanx fer any help!!!

Grind the wrench down to a more appropriate width, that is what I did.

wrap the flash-hider 3-4 times with teflon tape (the stuff for plumbing threads) and use a high quality adjustable wrench.

After all, teflon IS scratch resistant...  but seriously this does work.  I use this method for anodized aluminum racing fittings.

Thanks, John
