I have an upper that I don't know who made it. The receiver has a key hole type emblem in the side of the receiver. How can I tell who made the other parts. I am new to the AR game and don't know that much about them. Any help is appreciated. |

The key hole means the forging was produced by Cerro Forge. They make forgings for many companies. Look at your barrel to see what is stamped on it. B = Bushmaster, C = Colt, DPMS = DPMS, and so on. You may have something like: B MP 5.56 NATO HBAR That means Bushmaster, magnetic particle tested, 5.56 NATO chamber, HBAR profile |
