Since the Smith Ent. Vortex FH is said to tighten on it's own as the rifle is shot, would there be any advantages to shooting the upper with the FH attached a bit before permanently pinning and welding it?

ETA: I realize that once pinned and welded the FH will not move, I am just wondering if there is an advantage to the FH being on as tight as it could possibly be before making it permanent.

I highly doubt it will affect you either way.  If you send it off and have it done, it will most likely be removed before being pinned on anyway.
