How and where do you fit your accuwedge? I could not get mine to fit in my lower.

Look at this schematic. Accu-wedge is part #1 and shows where to insert it. It will fit tight.

They come oversized so you'll need to have a sharp knife to trim it down to size.
I used an exacto knife. Worked well for the job.
You'll know when you've taken off enough when you can close your lower and get the
pin through without too much effort.

Cool thanks. That's where I tried it but no way in hell was that compressing enough. I guess I need to try a little more elbow grease.

ONE thing the fellas above forgot to mention.

RRA lowers have the higher rear shelf in their lowers and you will NOT be able to use the accuwedge on a RRA lower.

I've got one in my RRA NM. I trimmed a lot off of it, but it makes for a snug fit.

I couldn't even begin to get my tight DPMS lower and DPMS upper to close with the accuwedge in there - no wonder!  I had no idea you had to trim them to get them to work.  I just threw the thing in the toolbox and called it crap.
