what is the typical accuracy with cheaper rifle kits? 2-3" at 100 yds? im looking at the model 1, J & T and del-ton kits. What kind of groups are you guys getting? Do you gain any accuracy with a 20" barrel over a 16"?

Is the only benefit of a bull barrel increased accuracy with lots of fire in a short period of time? Would a 5 shot group from a cold bull barrel be better or the same as a 5 shot group from a cold non bull barrel?

thanks,
devin

You can shoot 1 MOA @ 100 with a Model 1 barrel.  Their barrels are Shaw barrels and are of excellent quality.

The key is can you shoot 1 MOA?

16" non bull? are they called "sporter/sporting" barrels?

i want a barrel thats more accurate than me rather than the other way around so theres always room for improvement...that way i cant blame it on the equipment :)
