[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Mid length 6.8?

I would like to build an 18" 6.8 SPC upper for my AR. Anyone out there able to help out?

Specifically I need an 18" bbl, gas block, gas tube, mid length (preferably free floating) handguard, bolt (is the bbl extention the same?) & flash hider.

I have read a bit about the advantages of a mid length rifle and it sounds like a helluva good idea to me for deer hunting, plinking and everything else.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

I did a 18" midlength build a few months ago. Got the barrel from www.ar15barrels.com all the other parts are standard AR15 except the Flash suppressor.

PRI makes what you want, 1/2" groups at 100 yds.

Are you looking for just parts or someone to build it for you. Here's a recent 6.8SPC I built. I have parts or I can custom build it for you.

I also just built a MEGA 18" SPR 6.8SPC but I don't have pictures of that one yet.

That rifle is friggin' sweet looking. I just ordered a 6.8 Recon from Denny, but I'd like that one too!
