Ok I want to install a Daniels Defense Sling attachment and I have to remove my telestock on my RRA Midlength to do it.

Which direction do I turn the nut to remove?

Left away from the ejection port or
Right towards the ejection port

Looks like it is not staked on so I should be good to go one I borrow a wrench/tool from my friend

If the rifle is standing upright on the stock, turning the nut right would loosen it from the receiver, meaning it would move towards the rear of the stock.  Turning the nut left would bring it up, away from the butt, tightening it against the receiver.  Just like any normal threading.

As the shooter holds the rifle for shooting.  Righty tighty, lefty loosy.  It's a right hand thread.
