Does anyone hever have a model1sales varmit rifle?

Does anyone one know if stainless steel is better then chrome moly?

I do have a AR15 standard A2 from model1sales and I think it is very good havn't had any problems with it.

What is the difference between a normal trigger and a two stage.

I would go with 1-9 if it's solely for varmints but if not, 1-8 to better stabilize the heavier bullets. Stainless steel, from what I've heard is supposedly more accurate than chrome moly, and even better than chrome lined barrells but I don't think it wears all that great if I remember right. About the trigger, plenty of recent topics about 2-stage trigger discussion.

What grain loads do you plan on shooting and whats your usual range for targets?  Stainless isnt neccessarily better than chrome moly, it has to do with who made the barrel and what type of machining experience they have in the firearms industry.  A two stage trigger has some slack in the pull just before you hit the trigger point where the hammer lets go.  This allows a smoother uptake on the trigger (these usually require more maintenance due to their complexity).  A single stage is the trigger in your A2 more than likely, but AR's have a very high trigger pull since theyre based on military rifles and not match rifles.  Im not much into match shooting so others will probably be along to advise you on your trigger and barrel choice situation.
